Basic Reading, Writing & Math
Basic Reading: Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced is offered on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The class teaches word attack skills, phonics, comprehension skills, and vocabulary development. Computers are used to assist learners to improve their reading and writing skills. Basic Math: Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced is offered on Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Practice of basic math skills including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals is covered.
