Registration for Spring 2017 classes begins December 12th!  Spring 2017 classes start on January 9th, 2017.   FREE ESL, Citizenship Prep in English and Spanish, and High School Diploma classes!  Distance Learning and GED also available.  Take the Preschool, Excel, QuickBooks, VESL, and any of the self-paced classes in CTEC.  The best deal in town!

Graduation Requirements for the High School Diploma

 
  • Language Arts - 40 credits
  • Math - 20 credits
  • Science - 20 credits
  • Social Science:
    • U.S. History - 10 credits
    • American Government and Economics- 10 credits
  • World History - 10 credits
  • Career Preparation - 10 credits
  • Fine Arts or Foreign Language - 10 credits
  • Electives - 50 credits
 
Total:  180 credits

Academic counseling is available on a non-appointment basis at the Norwalk Campus.  Call (562) 868-9858 for counseling hours.  
 
Counseling Office Services:
  • High School Diploma and GED Preparation, course enrollment
  • TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) placement testing 
  • Transcript evaluation

Candidates for the high school diploma must complete at least ten credits in residency as an adult diploma student at the Norwalk-La Mirada Adult School.
